I spent a good chunk of my evening yesterday watching the 1963 movie, Cleopatra featuring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Her entrance into Rome blew my mind with endless inspiration! The costumes, the colors!! I am swooning.

To think, this was all filmed with absolutely no special effects! Hollywood just ain't what it used to be. . .
